Government of India vide its notification number No.4(6)-B(W&M)/2023 dated June 14, 2023, shared that Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24 (Series II) will be opened for subscription during the period 11-15 September 2023 with Settlement date as 20 September 2023.
Sovereign Gold Bond’s price during the subscription period will be Rs. 5,923 per gram, as announced by the RBI in their press release on September 8, 2023. If you invest in SGB online, you will be offered a discount of Rs. 50 per gram. This means that for these investors, the price of the Gold Bond will be Rs. 5,873 per gram of gold.
