When I tried to close my fixed depoait via bank to renew the same at new interest rate, the bank did not tell me the penalty that will be applied. I came across your calculator and it told me exact amount applicable as penalty and also about the loss on my fd renewal. I wish Inhad come across your excel earlier so that I did not lose my money. I dont know why does bank not have this.l?

  5. Gaurav Dharr

Excellent Sir. I am amazed how you have created this very simple and easy to use calculator. I wish I would have bought both of your calculators when the deal was going. I also helped my relatives by checking their details before renewal of fixed deposit and this calculator helped us from losing money. Your calculator told us that if we preclose our fixed deposit and renew it now, then even though we will be renewing it at higher interest rate, still we will be at loss. And if we wait for just 10 more days, then we will have profit. We were surprised that banks never gave this information. We spend 1000 on this calculator and saved more than 15000 in loss. So thanks and God bless you.

  6. Abhishek Raval

Amit Ji, thanks for creating this calculator. It has helped me in taking the decision on whether I should take the calculator or not. Really appreciate your effort in creating this as not even bank is able to provide us with this level of information. A big fan of your youtube videos.
